Meet Ryan Provencher

My commitment to fitness started early, inspired by my father’s dedication as a law enforcement officer. When I joined the fire service in 1993, while earning my degree in Exercise Science, I quickly saw how biomechanics, kinesiology, and strength training directly applied to the demands of firefighting. By 1995, I was already designing training programs for firefighters, setting the foundation for what would become Firefighter Peak Performance.

But my journey wasn’t without setbacks. Multiple surgeries, arthritis, and the toll of the job forced me to rethink how to train—not just for strength, but for longevity. Firefighter fitness isn’t just about performance. It’s about staying in the fight for the long haul.

Firefighter Peak Performance is the result of decades of real-world experience, scientific study, and lessons from some of the best minds in tactical fitness. My mission is simple: to give firefighters the tools to build strength, recover faster, and perform at their best—on and off the job.

I work with firefighters and firefighter candidates who are ready to take a more strategic approach to fitness and wellness. By applying these principles, you can reduce injury risk, optimize performance, and improve your quality of life at every stage of your career.
